About the Concord Charlotte Express (CCX)

CCX History

The Concord Charlotte Express, the first ever seven day a week express service in the region, was born by a partnership between Concord Kannapolis Area Transit (Rider) and Charlotte Area Transit System to expand regional connectivity throughout the Charlotte metro area.

Scheduled Launch

CCX Service will begin Monday, March 19, 2018.

How To Ride

- Towards Charlotte -

Local riders can transfer to the CCX route from the Rider Transit Center on S. Ridge Ave in Concord. You can catch any of our other routes to transfer to the CCX at the Rider Transit Center.

Looking to Park & Ride? Transit Riders heading towards Charlotte can park at the Village/Big Lots Shopping Center located at 280 Concord Pkwy North. The CCX route makes a stop at this location on every trip.

*Please note that parking is LIMITED at the Rider Transit Center.
